Short description of the project
In order to ensure the continued provision of quality, adequate and equally accessible emergency medical care throughout the Republic of Croatia, it's necessary to continuously maintain and upgrade the emergency medical service infrastructure, including the modernization of road medical vehicles and ensuring the availability of competent emergency medical service professionals. The project involves acquiring 80 road medical vehicles equipped with the medical and communication equipment necessary for the provision of emergency medical care, which at the same time enables the transfer of vital patient data from the vehicle to a remote consulting doctor in real-time and is a prerequisite for teleconsultations between the on-site team and the emergency department. The vehicles will be allocated to the county emergency medicine institutes according to the number of T2 teams and T1 teams in more distant locations.
Objective
Renewal of the emergency medical service vehicle fleet and establishment of the preconditions for future investments in enabling teleconsultations between nurses in the T2 team and young doctors in the T1 team with emergency medicine specialists in an emergency department.
Expected project results
Acquired 80 equipped road medical vehicles for county institutes of emergency medicine.
