EP2 training programme exercise for doctors and nurses was held in Valpovo from 13 to 16 March 2019 as part of the project Continuing professional training of emergency medicine workers. Leader Katja Kudna Prašek, with the help of a team of national instructors, introduced participants from the county institutes of emergency medicine from the Bjelovar-Bilogora, Požega-Slavonia, Osijek-Baranja, Sisak-Moslavina, Virovitica-Podravina and Vukovar-Srijem counties to novelties in the field of emergency medicine in order to increase their knowledge and skills. In clinical practice training models, acquired solely for this project, participants acquire skills that will enable them to improve their performance in situations where the life of an individual or community is threatened.
The project Continuing professional training of emergency medicine workers is co-financed by resources from the European Social Fund and implemented by the Croatian Institute of Emergency Medicine with the aim of maintaining and improving the knowledge and skills of emergency medicine workers, while at the same time advancing healthcare in the Republic of Croatia and improving access to high quality health services.
