The project Continuous professional training of emergency medicine workers continued after a break due to the COVID-19 pandemic with a new cycle of educational exercises, the first of which was held in Stubičke Toplice from 17 to 20 September 2021.
EP4 training programme exercise for workers performing triage in emergency medicine gathered 30 participants from the clinical hospital centres Osijek, Rijeka, Sestre milosrdnice and Zagreb, clinical hospitals Dubrava and Sveti Duh, and the County Hospital Čakovec. Led by Sandro Vidmanić and a team of national instructors, the participants renewed their knowledge of the triage process - the accurate assessment of the patient's urgency according to his main problem, general impression, and measured vital parameters.
The project Continuing professional training of emergency medicine workers is co-financed by resources from the European Social Fund and implemented by the Croatian Institute of Emergency Medicine to maintain and improve the knowledge and skills of emergency medicine workers, while at the same time advancing healthcare in the Republic of Croatia and improving access to high-quality health services.
