EP2 training programme exercise for doctors and nurses was held in Valpovo from 11 to 14 June 2022 as part of the project Continuing professional training of emergency medicine workers.
Led by Dejana Martinić and a team of national instructors, a total of 30 participants from the institutes of emergency medicine from Bjelovar-Bilogora, Brod-Posavina, Osijek-Baranja, Sisak-Moslavina, Požega-Slavonia, Virovitica-Podravina and Vukovar-Srijem counties improved the theoretical knowledge and skills necessary for quality providing emergency medical care. In clinical practice training models, acquired solely for this project, participants acquire skills that will enable them to improve their performance in situations where the life of an individual or community is threatened.
The project Continuing professional training of emergency medicine workers is co-financed by resources from the European Social Fund and implemented by the Croatian Institute of Emergency Medicine to maintain and improve the knowledge and skills of emergency medicine workers, while at the same time advancing healthcare in the Republic of Croatia and improving access to high-quality health services.
